We registered as a historical society in 1954. This year 2024 is our 70th year of existence!!!!
Not only that but this year is the 60th year of the old jail museum in downtown Allegan!!
And our historical village at the Allegan County Fair was in existence for 50 years as of 2022. (Not all the buildings have been there that long but what has been called the "village" has been.)
